Today's Meet



Today’s Meet is a site for discussion amongst a class. The teacher can post a question or start a discussion, which the class will then collaborate on. This is a great way for a teacher to hear from all of the students.

Directions

I. Creating a Room
A. Web Address
1. In the URL bar, type in http://todaysmeet.com.
2. Make sure there is no www in the web address.
B. Create a Room
1. On the right side, there is an area called create a room.
a. The first step is to name your room.
-To access that room, you must type in http://todaysmeet.com/(example). Say you named your room Jeremy Fink. The web address to access that room would be http://todaysmeet.com/jeremyfink.
_ If there is a red x by the URL of the room below where you put in the name, that name is already in use and you must use a different name.
b. Next, you must put in how long you want that room to be active.
-When the time limit expires, the room and all discussion held in it will be deleted.
c. Click Create your room.
d. You will be prompted to type in your name. Once done, click join.
II. Discussion
A. On the right, there is a box where you type in a message. Type what you want to say, and click say. The message will be displayed on the left.
1. You will be able to read what anybody posts on the left.
a. You can scroll up and down in the area where people post.
